MODEL FOR VET PROVIDERS

A model for Smooth Online Working for VET providers includes instructions and tools for the implementation of the teacher mentoring process at VET schools. The model includes the description of the mentoring process, a teacher’s guide including pedagogical methods, mentors training material, and surveys to determine the needs and evaluate the impact.

SITUATION ANALYSIS SURVEY

Prior to the mentoring process, a situation analysis survey conducted by VET provider gives knowledge about the current competence level and needs. The objective of the survey is to - analyse the knowledge and experience related to digital teaching and learning and used e-learning environments among VET teachers - identify the gap between the current knowledge & experience and the needs.

MENTORS TRAINING AND MENTORING

The mentors training should be organised before starting the mentoring activities. The training can be implemented by using the Teachers Guide and created training materials. Impact survey can be used to evaluate the impact of the training.

SMOOTH ONLINE GUIDE FOR TEACHERS

Smooth Online Working guide for teachers is made for teachers for their self-study material. This guide gives teachers information about digital learning and teaching and e-learning environments and how they could work smoothly online. Teachers will gain more methods and information about different pedagogics to their toolbox. Different eLearning possibilities are clarified both from the students and teachers’ perspective. Teachers can learn from provided eLearning material examples or jus use them on their online lesson

IMPACT SURVEY FOR MENTEES

Prior to the mentoring kick-off event, an impact survey gives knowledge about the current knowledge of the mentees. The Impact survey will be answered second time after the end of mentoring process. The impact of the mentoring process to mentees skills and knowledge can be analysed by comparing the survey results.
